ABOUT PAUL TORRES

Hi, I'm Paul
I am a proud Bryan resident, business owner, and dedicated community leader committed to serving the city I call home. As a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University, I have built my career around leadership, service, and strengthening our community for future generations.
I currently serve on the Bryan City Council, where I work to support responsible growth, infrastructure improvements, public safety, and opportunities for local families and businesses. As CEO and co-owner of BenRoz Construction and a retired professional from Sysco Food Service, I understand the challenges facing working families, local businesses, and the future growth of Bryan.
Before serving on the City Council, I had the opportunity to serve on several City of Bryan boards and commissions, including the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Building Standards Commission, and Planning and Zoning Commission. These experiences gave me valuable insight into community development, neighborhood preservation, and long-term planning for our city.
I am also an active member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church, and the BCS Hispanic Forum. I believe strong communities are built through service, collaboration, and staying connected to the people we represent.
I remain committed to working alongside residents, community leaders, and local organizations to help keep Bryan a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
