
MEET PAUL TORRES
Paul Torres is a dedicated community leader, businessman, and proud lifelong advocate for the City of Bryan. A 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University, Paul has built his career around service, leadership, and strengthening the community he calls home.
Paul currently serves as a Bryan City Councilmember, where he brings firsthand knowledge of local development, infrastructure, and community needs to the decision-making process. As CEO and co-owner of BenRoz Construction and a retired professional from Sysco Food Service, he understands both the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses, working families, and the future growth of Bryan.
Before serving on the City Council, Paul dedicated years of service through several important community and city leadership roles, including the City of Bryan Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Building Standards Commission, and Planning and Zoning Commission. These experiences provided him with a deep understanding of responsible development, neighborhood preservation, and long-term planning for Bryan’s future.
A committed member of both Santa Teresa Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paul also remains actively involved with the BCS Hispanic Forum, reflecting his passion for community engagement, inclusivity, and collaboration.
With a strong foundation in public service and business leadership, Paul Torres continues working alongside residents, local leaders, and fellow councilmembers to preserve Bryan’s character while advancing opportunities for future generations.
